Johnson City car accident lawyer, Mark Hurt, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before attending Duke University, earning his law degree and graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. After graduating, Mark practiced law at large litigation firms in both Dallas, TX and Washington, D.C., however, it was just a matter of time before Mark – a native Bristolian – returned to the Tri-Cities to open up his own law firm.

Mark has successfully represented hundreds of clients in all areas of law. He is a skilled negotiator, having reached settlements for clients ranging from minor personal injury cases for thousands of dollars all the way up to multimillion-dollar settlements for major cases.

However, he will not hesitate to take a case to trial if the other side refuses to negotiate in a fair and just manner. Mark is well known as an accomplished litigator, with extensive experience trying cases in front of juries. He has also argued appeals in Virginia, Tennessee, and federal courts, and has had the privilege of arguing two cases before the United States Supreme Court.
